Recent Works

Ron is a native Northern California landscape artist. His early studies were heavily influenced by the surrealist movement of the 1920's and 1930's. Some of that may still be seen in his landscape paintings of today, many of which depict both the hyperralism and whimsical aspects of surrealism and photorealism.

A self-taught artist, Ron has for the past several years studied and been inspired by several diverse genres of landscape art and landscape artists. However, his main inspiration continues to be the wild, open spaces of the earth.
